The Semantic Web is an extension of the current web in which information is given well-defined meaning, better enabling computers and people to work in cooperation. This makes it easier for machines to automatically process and integrate information. XML's ability to define customized tags and RDF's flexible approach to represent data could be exploited to build Semantic Web. RDF (Resource Description Framework) is used to represent information and to exchange knowledge in the Web. In extension to this several standard Ontology are used. Web Ontology Language (OWL) is one such kind of Ontology. This seminar will give a primary knowledge on the RDF and OWL
