THE PROPULSION SYSTEM FOR FUTURISTIC GUN AMMUNITION
ABSTRACT
For the survival of human race, the greatest objective is to defeat the enemy. For this we have to design and bring modern concept for propellant system used in futuristic gun ammunition. To bring the concept into a success we have designed the gun ammunition with muzzle velocity excess of 2000 m/s. and with key objective over high range quicker response to time and better accuracy. The system has to be so designed that it can tackle the gun erosion. Propellant system used in ballisticians should have simple concept, lower cost better thermal and chemical stability, and higher performance reliability also. Powder used in gun ammunition should not produce smoke and residue after explosion. The attention of the ballisticians has currently being refocused on solid gun propellant containin
