Analysis of Multi-Agent System for Setting Up the Platform for Processing
EEG / ECG / EMG Waveforms Using Agent Oriented Programming
Approach with JADE

An agent can be defined as a component that, given a goal could act in the place of a user within its domain knowledge. This article describes the approach to developing Multi- Agent platform for processing of Bio-signals using JADE(Java Agent DEvelopment framework). The multi-agent system so developed helps in the processing of bio-signals aiming at assisting medical practitioners in developing standard examination procedures.the response time is very less as the agents in the JADE platform run in threads.

Features of JADE
JADE provides the following features:
-Graphical user interface which can be used for managing of several agents.
-Debugging tools which are helpful in developing multiagent applications
-Distributed agent platform.

Agent Based Bio-Signal Processing Scenario
Here, a Multi-Agent platform is developed for processing of Bio-signals. the platform for processing the EEG / ECG / EMG waveforms is setup by the trained and intelligent systems that are agents. The decision making process involves the communication between the several agents. expert opinion about EEG / ECG / EMG of his patient can be provided to the doctor by evoking the generic agent specifying the SSN. The EEG Agent, ECG Agent, EMG Agent are selected by the generic agent. based on the signal type on the network.
