The State government has empowered Nada Kacheri offices in the hoblis to issue eligibility certificates to residents of Hyderabad-Karnataka region under Article 371-J. Applicants have to submit an application with relevant documents. The revenue officer has 30 days to issue the certificates. They will bear a digital signature of the officer concerned. These certificates can be used for seeking reservation benefits in admission to education institutions and public employment. Till now, the certificates were issued at the offices of the Assistant Commissioner.
