Introduction of RTPMS
Challenges
many technical challenges are faced by the multimedia networking as real-time data has to be sent over non-real time network. The need to provide , high data rate over limited network bandwidth and unpredictable availability of network bandwidth are the other problems. Many are designed for specific application and hence the factor of reusability is not present in them. Also , the receiver has a limited buffer for any multimedia application,hence , the buffer can be overflowed if the data arrives too fast and some data will be lost, also resulting in poor quality.
Proposed System
The proposed system implements a generic component to be used by the developers. The text, audio and video streaming can be done by the component. It Ensures reusability and the developer s streaming overhead is removed by the component. By integrating this API, the different applications such as the Video server (IPTV, VoD), video conferenceing, E-learning Software, security etc.
