Aim:
To provide easily accessible and appropriately structured information about: pioneering European ATM networking platforms (also called "testbeds"); important research and development activities closely related to these platforms; and significant trial results, being the outcome of such research activities.
To provide a facility for on-line remote monitoring and, to a more limited extent, control of the said ATM networking platforms.
To use the monitoring facility, so as to allow to an enlarged audience to witness selected important trials, taking place on the said platforms.
To structure selected trial results according to an appropriate electronic file format and store those files together with the rest of the information of the first item above, so that the files may be accessed, post-processed and integrated with other material, towards the creation of off-line demonstrations and courses on a particular technological issue.
To actually develop such courses and off-line demonstrations for disseminating important trial results and, more generally, technological issues, within and (mainly) outside the EU.
