This seminar deals about working of Indoor Positioning Systems (IPS) and the application of Indoor Positioning Systems (IPS) like patients under care or equipment in a hospital. Indoor Positioning Systems (IPS) locates and track objects in buildings. Most system apply wireless concepts or optical tracking, ultrasound, phase-shift system. commonly The located objects shall be tagged with labels, tags, tokens or transponders to enable locating or positioning.Global navigation satellite systems (GPS or GNSS) are not suitable to establish indoor locations,because microwaves will be attenuated and scattered by roofs, walls and other objects,so that High Sensitivity GNSS is commonly used Indoor Positioning Systems for better result
