This is Nishant Sharma, a fourth year engineering student in Manufacturing Process and Automation department. I am doing my internship in an induction motor producing company. And I wish to do a project in that company related to my department. Some of the ideas that I have are under production planning and control, mainly, inventory management. Can anyone suggest any other projects, and what exactly should I do? The company is producing the same type of motors so there is no scope for quality. Please suggest what all projects can be there for production planning and control. I have not done any earlier training projects so I do not have any idea how to go about it.
The project could be a theoretical one or it may involve taking readings. If possible, suggest a few possible internet sites that could help, free of cost. I am in urgent need of help.
