Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is an affiliating university located in Kota in the state of Rajasthan, India. The university was established in 2006. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan to enhance technical education in the state.

The university has been established on the campus of the University College of Engineering, Kota (previously known as Engineering College, Kota), which is located on the Rawatbhata Road, about 14 km from Kota Railway Station and 10 km from Kota bus stand.

The university affiliates about 129 engineering colleges, 4 B.Arch colleges, 41 MCA colleges, 95 MBA colleges, 44 M.Tech colleges and 03 hotel management and catering institutes. More than 2.5 lakh students study in the institutes affiliated to the university.

The university offers Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

The Governor of Rajasthan Shri. Kalyan Singh is the Chancellor, and professor N.P.Kaushik is the vice chancellor of rajasthan technical university, kota.Dean academics H.D.Charan.A top faculty of department of civil engineering of rajasthan technical university kota. Associate professor C.D.Prasad is the chief warden of the hostel.snjeev mishra head department of mechanical engineering studied from bits pilani and former registrar of rtu is now reap coordinator .thorough reap all admission process for btech,be,mtech,phd are conducted.

hi am mukesh i would like to get details on meaning of poso in rajasthan uni. rslt my friend justin said meaning of poso in raj. uni. rslt will be available here and now i m living at kota and ilast in the college gov. college and now am doing b.a.2nd year i need help
