The remote controlled screw jack is a modified form of the commonly used screw jack. It uses motor as the energy source to lift the object and the gearbox is used to control the lift of the jack. In this project, the conventional motorised cylindrical lifting jack is modified by adding an additional ring in the centre for the purpose of gripping the v belt assembly. A v belt pulley is added at the output shaft of the 12v big DC motor. The entire structure and assembly is held in position by an angle iron based assembly. The entire project is run by a 5A DC power supply.
The screwjack is operated by turning the lead screw. As the lead screw turns, the height of the screwjack turns. The device has
support base
the body of the jack mounted on it
the housing that is mounted on the jack body
A servomotor for driving the jack and having a gear on the lower end.
The support base has driven gear and the driven pinion mounted.
