time table ganeration system

hello..i am a btech 3rd year student and i have decided to do my project on TiME TABLE GEN. SYSTEM
but i am not able to start it
i hav done documentation
but noth[/size][/font]ing in design or coding
i know java and hence want some ideas on this project.
I mean i am still confused about its logic. it would be great if you can direct me on this.
