VALEDICTORY OF NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM - TECHFEST 2012
The valedictory function of A National Level Technical Symposium Techfest 2k12 was conducted on 18th February 2012 in Ananda Arangam (A/C) of Paavai Campus. The symposium was organized jointly by Paavai College of Engineering and Pavai College of Technology. The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. S. Ramachandran, Managing Director, Renold Chain India Pvt., Ltd, Dindigul.
Ms.R. Abirami of II yr Civil welcomed the gathering. Shri. CA. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Insitutions presided over the function. The Chairman and the Correspondent honoured the Chief-guest with a bouquet, memento and a shawl. In the presidential address the Chairman of Paavai Institutions stressed the importance and sacredness in the bond between parents and children. He advised the students not to deviate from their filial responsibility of taking care of their parents. On no occasion they should forget the sacrifice and pain the parents endure to make their children achieve their target. He congratulated the winner and participants from various colleges of Techfest 2k12.
Mr. S. Ramachandran, Managing Director, Renold Chain India Pvt., Ltd, in his key-note address pointed out the role of inspirational and motivating factors for one s success. He congratulated and shared his delight over the clean and healthy atmosphere of Paavai campus. He envied the students of Paavai Institutions, who have been blessed with an able Chairman, who has been presenting the best of all facilities for his students. He spoke in detail about the behavioural theory. He reminded the six important points conviction, empathy, trust, understanding ability, integrity and openness which play a pivotal role in achieving greatness. The chief guest congratulated the winners, participants and all who have involved in organizing and conducting the program in a successful way.
The winners of the paper presentation contest were honoured with a cash prize of Rs.25,000/-, Rs. 15,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- as the first three prizes respectively for each one of the three domain. In all, cash prizes worth Rs.2,80,000/- were distributed for the winners. In the feedback sessions the participants from various colleges congratulated the cleanliness and the hospitality of the Paavai Institutions. They expressed their overwhelmed admiration over the hospitality shown towards them. They are amazed with way the Professors and the students of Paavai institutions who have taken care of them and made them feel at home during their stay in the campus.

Start with something that talks about memories, of the beautiful school days or with something that wishes everyone a bright future ahead.
e.g. lines from the famous song ''hum rahen ya na rahe kal, yaad ayenge ye pal''. Take the main lines.
In the middle- You can a little about any favourite teacher (not personal, consider the whole class/majority). These are one liners between performances.
Other fillers- A. any highlight of your school life. or any memory you will never forget.
B. any quote (doesn't have to be a complex english quote; pick a hindi one or a simple english one but make it CLEARLY UNDERSTABLE for everyone.
C. If allowed, you can go down to the audiences and ask your principal/any teacher to say something about the passing batch.
P.S. I don't know If this would be of much help as I am late in replying. Was caught with some work.
