(Good morning) Members,
Thank you all for coming and joining us here today. We are pleased to welcome those of you who have been with us for some time, as well as those of you who are new to us (group / community / association, etc.)
Today is celebrating our (5th) group meeting (annual) and we are very proud to be able to host you here in (location) with all of you today.
Just before I begin, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you who so generously helped us to make this event come together smoothly, (names of individuals you wish to thank here) we could not have done it without you!
At today's meeting I would like to focus on all of our new volunteers who have joined us since (January 2011, etc.)
All of you have chosen to be part of our association because of our mutual passion for (matter concerning association). His passions help us all to unite as one and the energy we create as one allows us to achieve our individual and group goals. We need you as much as you need us and that is why we are very happy that you join us here in (name of the association).
Over the next few months, you will learn more about our different initiatives through our planned activities and special events where you can participate and get your own hands on experiences. I hope these are memorable and satisfying for you ..
These are not, of course, the only important things here for us - you'll also be gathering a lot of new people and making new friends along the way.
Here in (name of the association) we value and appreciate the friendships that we make, since more often than not they are demonstrated in a strong common ground that in turn makes them last for many, many years to come!
Well, I think I've gone long enough, I have to leave some time for (name) to introduce myself to all of you and fill in some of our upcoming (activities / projects) before we all get bored too much today!
So a warm welcome to all of you, please come and meet me in the (lobby) when (name) is made if you have any questions, suggestions or just want to meet and say hello!
