sanskrit essay on plastic pollution
#1

plastic pollution involves the accumulation of plastic products in the environment that affect wildlife, wildlife habitat, or humans. [1] the plastics that act as pollutants are classified into micro, meso or macrodebris, based on the size. [2] the importance of the plastic pollution is correlated with plastics being inexpensive and durable, which lends to high levels of plastics used by humans. [3] However, it is slow to degrade. [4] plastic pollution can adversely affect land, rivers and oceans. Living organisms, in particular marine animals, can also be affected by entanglement, the direct of waste plastics ingestion, or by exposure to chemicals in plastics that cause interruptions in biological functions. Humans are also affected by plastic pollution, for example by the interruption of the axis of thyroid hormones or hormone levels. In the United Kingdom, more than 5 million tons of plastic are consumed each year, including a simple estimate of 24%, it is in recycling systems. This leaves a remainder 3.8 million tonnes of waste to landfill. [5] [6] efforts to reduce plastic products in some regions to try to reduce consumption of plastic and pollution and promote the recycling of plastic.
