Tata Ace is one of the most sought after mini trucks in India and has a grip over a majority of small scale businesses. Available in 12 variants, Ace offers different specifications of wheelbase spanning from 1,285 mm to 2,100 mm and payload capacity between 600 to 1,030 kg. Powered by a variety of engines, Ace is able to churn out power and torque in the range of 11.3 40 bhp and 36.1 94 Nm respectively. The cabin is not very comfortable but caters to basic needs including comfortable & adjustable seats and a modern day driver information display. Nonetheless, availability of power steering and AC could make the driver s life a lot easier. Ace s ex-showroom price starts from INR 2.6 lakh.

Tata Ace HT mini truck powered by the 4 stroke, indirect injection diesel engine. The model is TATA 275 IDI Diesel BS-II and BS IV. The engine comes with 702cc engine displacement and can churns out 16 hp @ 3200 rpm power output and 3.8mkg @2000rpm torque on ride. It is also equipped with Single Plate Dry Friction Diaphragm clutch.

The mini truck can attain 60 kmph top attainable speed. It have 22% Gradeability & 21% Grade Restartability. The cabin equipped with Seating capacity of Driver +1. It measures 2100mm wheelbase & 30 litres fuel tank. For safety and stability you have Dual Circuit Hydraulically Activated brakes, Rigid Axle with Parabolic Leaf Spring suspension, Front disc and rear drum brakes and Mechanical, Variable Ratio (20.5 to 24.5) steering too.
