Abstract:
Tribometer is an instrument that offer precise and repeatable wear/friction measurement of a surface. Friction testing can be carried out in various environments to simulate the real life scenarios. Tribometer testing rigs can take numerous geometries but generally take the form of a loaded probe that impinges the sample that travels in a circular or reciprocating fashion.
