This book has been designed as a textbook for the students of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, and Chemical Engineering courses offered in technical universities all over India. Chapters 1 to 7 cover the parameters like temperature, pressure, force, torque, velocity, acceleration, vibration, density, flow, level, viscosity, humidity and moisture. Fundamentals of measuring instruments has been covered additionally in this second edition. Some special techniques used for radiation pyrometers are added as appendix for the benefit of many customers.
