Network Monitor

Abstract
This project monitor activates in a Local Area Network and gathers useful information about host machine as well as other nodes in the network. This project includes implementation of ping and uses ping to monitor various activities. It displays live nodes in the network. Prints network connections, routing tables, interface statistics,arp table ,subnet mask etc.It also displays IP and MAC address of any node given it's hostname. Time status is also displayed. It has a very good graphical interface so that network information is accessed in a more helpful and better way.

thanks so much for the info, that was useful.. but i want more info on monitor for windows OS also, because the ping method i saw is for Linux. Can it be used for windows as well?
