FUNCTION GENERATOR
The square, triangle or sine waves in the audio frequency range can be easily generated using simple circuits. In this projects, four opamps are used to deliver these waveforms in the 6 Hz to 7000 Hz range.

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
An LM348 IC and passive components are used to generate the Square, sine and triangle waves. The LM348 is a quad operational amplifier IC package containing four separate opamps all in the one IC.

Sine Wave.
a wave shaping circuit produces a pseudo imitation of the sine wave.The circuit used here in effect 'joins together' this characteristic curve of the diode to obtain the sine wave.

Square Wave
One of the opamps in the LM348 is used for this purpose. The voltage level to pin 13 is set by the resistor divider pair R1 and R2.(circuit diagram included in the pdf). The the voltage output of opamp C at pin 8 and we can obtain the square wave at this point.
