INTRODUCTION

Organization in the past, gave more important to advanced technology for higher productivity surpassing the needs and mental state of its employees. This created a negative impact on the working environment among the employees. Thus it was realized societal support goes hand in with technical innovations. This integration can only be made through quality of work life denotes all the organizational inputs which aims at the employee s satisfaction and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Quality of work life refers to unfavorableness of the job environment for people.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The study is conducted mainly to analyze the quality of work life at Tollins Tyres, Kalady. Such an analysis is expected to show and highlight the strong and weak factors which are influencing the quality of work life at Tollins Tyres, Kalady.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

To assess the quality of work life of employees at Tollins Tyre, Kalady.
To make suggestion for improving the quality of work life in Tollins Tyres, Kalady.
To understand the management role for improving quality of work life.
To gain an insight into current working life politics and practices, as well as work life balance issues.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Simple random sampling method is used in the present study. Nearly 40 samples were collected. A questionnaire of 20 questions was prepared and primary data were collected from the managers and other staffs of the firm. Secondary data is collected from published journals, website and magazines.
Appropriate statistical tool such as Tables, Bar graphs, Percentage analysis and weighted average method were used to analyze the data.

LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

Converting qualitative data into quantitative data may often lead to inaccurate results.
The time schedule is less in order to conduct a detailed research.
There may be a chance of the worker are not revealing their actual views.

SCHEME OF THE STUDY
This project report is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter includes the introduction, scope, objectives and limitation of the study. In the second chapter it provides the review of literature and Second chapter consist of Industrial profile and Third chapter includes Company profile. In the Fifth chapter, there is a detailed analysis about the topic. It includes various tables and graphs. In the Sixth and Seventh chapter it provides the findings, suggestions and conclusion about the project respectively. The last section consists of Bibliography and Questionnaire.
