An existing small test stand, which will be used in the laboratories of construction, must be provided with a display that writes the results into an Excel file. The reading of the position is via an optical encoder, the display of the load cell is an analog signal between -10 and +10 V. The display must have a resolution of 16 bits, meaning that an external AD converter must be used. The data from the serial port must be forwarded to a PC where a program must be written to the data to be written into an Excel file. This file should be provided with a header containing a brief description of the test assembly (date, time, size specimen, song preview, etc.) Examples of a VB prog referring to an Excel file to be written and the desired header of the Excel file are available.
