Load Balancing Mail Server

Load Balancing Mail Server

The main objective of the project is to provide users with a comprehensive Mail Service management tool that fulfils their needs for Mail network and Load management as well as a monitoring tool for prompting received mail. With this objective in mind, the user is provided with a full featured package which includes Mail service, Service Analyzer as well as, Load Management and shedding load through Clustering, through the use of both client and server side software modules.

The primary goal of our project is to provide a Mail Server that can be used over an intranet. The users can create their account by providing the required information, after which using a unique login name and password; mails can be exchanged amongst clients along with the attachments. At the back-end, the entire user data and the mail-related information along with the message and attachments is getting distributed over a number of servers, thus living up to the idea of Load Balancing Mail Sever.

This is of great advantage as at a time, no single server contains the entire data, making the process of information retrieval extremely difficult. This adds several levels of difficulty to access database containing user information as the information is dynamically distributed making the system highly secure.
