Introduction
Twinkle Electricals is not big company but it is very essential part of Mahad MIDC, providing or repairing transformers which are one of the most important parts of any company.
It is situated nearly 13k.m. from mahad.

The company is established in May, 1991 by V.Y.Karle who is owner of that company. In this workshop distribution transformers are repaired .There is only one transformer repairing company in that industrial area .Income per year of this company is about 25 lack rupees.
Firstly, the joint inspection or outer physical damage, brushing damage is observed and first aid techniques are done with it.
After that the oil in transformer is checked weather it is usable or not.
Then to check the transformer, Reengineer come from Pen then executive superintendent, pen inspects the transformer.
Then the company gets the work order.
Oil to be filled in the transformer is got by the customer.
As the repairing work on the transformer completes, it is then stored into the drying oven in which warm air is blown for a purpose that moisture from the transformer is removed by the way of which insulating resistance increases.
As per approved by ISS, the tests are carried out.
The following tests are carried out:-
Megger test.
Turn ratio test.
Short circuit test.
Open circuit test.
BDV test.
No load test.
If the testing is done with the high voltage transformer, then precaution taken is that the testing is done in testing zone and people testing the transformer should be having rubber gloves and shoes.
On the basis of weight of high voltage and low voltage winding, the cost is determined.
