Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN)
[attachment=917]
Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN) is a concept developed by the TR-45 Mobile and Personal Communications Systems Standards engineering committee of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). Its objective is to transport the resources of the Intelligent Network to the wireless network, utilizing the TIA-41 set of technical standards. Basing WIN standards on this protocol allows changing to an intelligent network without making current network infrastructure obsolete.
Benefits Of WIN
Enables roaming and the delivery of advanced network-based services
Reference to standards, capabilities, and applications
Analysis of business issues and market trends
Exposure to applications in different areas of expertise
Convergence of IN and IP
