OBJECTIVE
to generate the sinusoidal signals using FPGA .
to generate the Triangular signals using FPGA .
to generate the sinusoidal PWM signals using FPGA (Xilinx FPGA SPARTAN 3, XC3S400)
to control the speed of BLDC motor using sinusoidal PWM Technique.

Work completed so far:-
Introduction of FPGA
Introduction of VHDL
Flow Chart for sine wave generation
Flow Chart for comparison of sine wave and DC
Flow Chart for triangle wave generation
Flow Chart for comparison of triangle wave and DC

Introduction of FPGA:
FPGA: Field Programmable Gate Array
Construction of interconnected logical cells
FPGA is a semiconductor device that can be configured by the customer hence name Field-programmable
Gate array:-
Two dimensional array of logic gates.
Traditionally connected with customized metal.
Field programmability is achieved though switches.

Advantages of FPGA
User can program an FPGA in a few minutes or rather than a week or months required for the production of mask-programmed parts.
Ability to reprogram in the field to fix bugs.

Introduction of VHDL
VHDL stands for very high speed integrated circuit hardware description language .
VHDL is one of the programming language used to model a digital system by Gate level, behavioral and structural style of modeling.
VHDL is a versatile and powerful hardware description language which is useful for modeling electronic systems at various levels of design abstraction.
