Solar energy compressor system
A solar collector compressor apparatus for heating and compression of a gas is described in this article. The main parts are serially connected solar heated heat exchanger tubes, which are pressure responsive valves. In a different form this may consist of solar heated compression tubes placed at the focus of a concentrating reflector.

This apparaatus is mainly used for converting the heat from the sun into compressed fluid or gas for future use in a home or industrial environment for refrigeration or heating means. The sun's rays are collected in a highly efficient manner , which is used for heating and consequent compression of the fluid being heated.The compression tubes containing fluid accomplish this. It is heated till a predetermined temperature or pressure and then a check valve will release the fluid which is passed through a heat exchanger further. the fluid is passed into a successive tube until the predetermined pressure is again reached by the heating of the sun's rays.
a constant flow compressor is at the heart of the compressor which helps to convert focused sunlight onto a compressed gas. A solar wheel with many cell units collect the sunlight. A mirror and suitable drive motor helps in directing the sun's rays to the gas. a metallic diaphragm heats up and heats the gas in the cell thus serving to expand and compress a gas or fluid contained within the cell.
