The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program (4 years program)

The BBA program focuses on problems closely related to a company's external economic environment and internal operation, and on economic reasoning which can contribute to sound business decision making.

The curriculum of the BBA program has a multi-disciplinary perspective, giving students opportunities to study many business courses and the flexibility to choose courses in science, engineering, social science, and humanities. It also encourages students to improve their language proficiency and business communication skills.

Nature of the BBA Program Structure

In the first and second year of their study, students in the School thirteen credit bearing foundation courses covering all major areas of business and management, mathematics and language course, and University common core courses. Major business areas include accounting, economics, finance, information systems, operations management, management of organizations and marketing.

Students select their major field of study in economics prior to their third year of study. In their third and fourth years of study, they take required and elective courses in economics, Language Center and university common core or second major courses.

Second Major and Minor Programs

The program structure makes it possible for a student to have second major. Students can graduate with second program (eg., BBA in Economics and Professional Accounting or Finance or Information Systems or Operations Management or Management of Organizations or Marketing). Students can take minor program among the following,

Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Biological Science, Chemistry, Actuarial Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics

Bioengineering*

Environmental Sustainability and Management, Information Technology, Engineering Management and Law , Technology Management, Aeronautical Engineering

Entrepreneurship,

China Studies, Liberal Studies, Humanities, Social Science
