ALLEN Career Institute is a coaching institute in India preparing students of classes 6th to 12th for IITJEE & AIPMT and other Engineering and Medical entrance examinations .In the year 1986, Rajesh Maheshwari started tutoring students on a small scale, following the success of which, he laid the foundation of ALLEN Career Institute in April 1988 in Kota, Rajasthan.[1]
ALLEN is named in the memory of Late Shri Laxmi Narayan Maheshwari, father of four directors Mr.Govind Maheshwari, Mr. Rajesh Maheshwari, Mr. Naveen Maheshwari and Mr. Brajesh Maheshwari.
ALLEN started from Kota and has expanded across 11 cities in India.[2]
In March 2014, India Today listed ALLEN in its list of top 10 coaching institutes in India.[3] In August 2014, ALLEN entered the Limca Book of Records for becoming The largest coaching institute of India by enrolling highest number of students (66,504) in Classroom Course at a single location, Kota. [4]
ALLEN conducts an entrance test, ALLEN Scholarship cum Admission Test (ASAT), which is also used for providing scholarships to meritorious students.[5][6]
ALLEN promotes and conducts various cultural activities to boost moral values amongst students. [7][8]
ALLEN also offers scholarship and fee concession to worthy students.It has various scholarship schemes for rankers in technical studies and rankers in medical studies to support their education furthermore after getting selected in competitive entrance exams.

Kota (Listeni/ ko t /) formerly known as Kotah, is a city located in the southeast of northern Indian state of Rajasthan.[4] It is located Around 250 kilometres (155 mi) south of the state capital, Jaipur. Situated on the banks of Chambal River, it is the third most populous city of Rajasthan after Jaipur and Jodhpur, 46th most populous city of India and 53rd most populous urban agglomeration of India. It serves as the administrative headquarters for Kota district and Kota Division. Kota is a major coaching hub of the country for competitive examination preparations and has a number of engineering and medical coaching institutes.[5]
The city of Kota was once the part of the erstwhile Rajput kingdom of Bundi. It became a separate princely state in the 17th century. Apart from the several monuments that reflect the glory of the town, Kota is also known for its palaces and gardens.[6][7]
Mahesh Vijay of Bhartiya Janta Party is the current Mayor of Kota.[8] In 2013, Kota was ranked the second most livable city in the state (after Jaipur) and forty-first in the country among 50 cities.[9] The city was also included among 98 Indian cities for Smart Cities Mission initiated by Indian prime minister Narendra Modi in 2015[10] and was listed at 67th place after results of first round were released following which top 20 cities were further selected for funding in the immediate financial year.[11]
Geography
Kota is located along the banks of the Chambal River in the southern part of Rajasthan. It is the 3rd largest city of Rajasthan after Jaipur and Jodhpur. The cartographic coordinates are 25.18 N 75.83 E.[14] It covers an area of 527 km2.[1][15] It has an average elevation of 271 metres (889 ft). The district is bound on the north and north west by Sawai Madhopur, Tonk and Bundi districts. The Chambal River separates these districts from Kota district, forming the natural boundary.

Abstract
In 1988, Shri Rajesh Maheshwari started with just eight students and after a few months Dr. K.G.Vaishnava, the eminent professor of Biology also joined him. It was the only institute of its time which provided coaching for all Science subjects i.e. Physics,Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics under one roof. This strong association became the foundation stone of the revolutionary Pre-Medical coaching institute of that time.
New heights of success were scaled year after year. The Institute achieved remarkable Landmark of 12 selections in Rajasthan PMT in the year 1991.
Meanwhile, Er. Brajesh Maheshwari, a dynamic person with excellent engineering background joined the team. The consistent and ideal team efforts of faculty members, the vivid educational philosophy of all the HODs and the visionary administration of Shri Rajesh Maheshwari altogether laid the path of glorious success, which led the institute to achieve First Rank in Rajasthan PMT in 1995. Since then, ALLEN is known to create never before benchmarks.The past achievements were complemented with remarkable progress when our Classroom Coaching Students Chitraang Murdia and Tejaswin Jha bagged the All India First Ranks in both the prestigious examinations of India, JEE Advanced 2014 and AIPMT 2014 respectively.
