A guidance system for helping the blind find the way is described. Means to generate modulated signals of different frequencies is there and also a means to amplify and transmit these signals through conductors along the path of the journey. A cane recieves the signals through oscillating means responsive to each signal. It also comprises an amplifier to amplify the signals so that it can be detacted by many persons carrying such recievers along the path.
An oscillator, amplifier and a pulse generator makes up the reciever stick. This systems aims at ease of use and minimum training required.
