road accidents occur mainly due to violation of traffic rules and rash driving. this project deals with simple but efficient method to overcome this problem. It is possible to make the vehicles to follow traffic rules by controlling the speed of the vehicle electronically such that the driver will not be able to violate the traffic rules. Here the sensor is placed at a distance of 15m from the signal. While green light is ON, all the vehicles are allowed to ride (Circuit - Deactivate).When yellow light becomes ON (Circuit - Activate),the sensor which is placed on the median sends the signal to receiver placed in the car which controls the speed of the vehicle gradually such that when red light becomes ON the vehicle will be stopped completely.
