DLW Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) is a production unit under the Ministry of Railways. This facility was created in collaboration with American Locomotive Company (ALCO), USA. UU. In 1961 and the first locomotive was launched in 1964. This unit produces electronic diesel locomotives and DG sets for Indian railroads and other customers in India and abroad. Subsequently, a 4000 HP locomotive technology transfer contract was signed with AC / AC (GT 46 MAC) / passenger alternating current (GT 46 PAC) and 710 engine family with the GENERL MOTORS USA electromotive division for the Manufacturing in DLW. The production of these locomotives has already begun and thus DLW are the only manufacturers of electric diesel locomotives with ALCO and General Motors technologies in the world. Central air conditioning plants are used for applications such as large hotels, large buildings that have several floors, hospitals, etc. where very high cooling loads are required. The article describes several possible arrangements of air conditioning plants.
Central air conditioning plants or systems are used when large buildings, hotels, theaters, airports, shopping malls etc. are going to air-conditioning completely. The split window and air conditioners are used for single rooms or small office spaces. If the entire building is to be cooled it is not economically viable to put the window or air conditioner split at each room. In addition, these small units can not satisfactorily cool large halls, auditoriums, reception areas, etc.
In central air conditioning systems there is a plant room where large compressors, condensers, thermostatic expansion valves and evaporators are maintained in the large plant room. They perform all functions as usual, similar to a typical cooling system. However, all of these pieces are larger in size and have higher capacities. The compressor is open type with multiple cylinders and is cooled by water as the engine of the car. The compressor and the condenser are of the shell and tube type. While in the small capillary air conditioning system is used as the expansion valve, in the central air conditioning systems the thermostatic expansion valve is used.
