WII REMOTE
WII REMOTE or WIIMOTE is the controller for nintendo's wii console. Its a one handed remote control different from the traditional game pad. The major attraction of the device is the efficient 3 D user interface features that it has.It interacts with the user through motions and gesture recognition. It incoperates a high precission acelerometer that can capture motions in all 3 axes it also has a pixart optical sensor that can determine where the wiimote is pointing. The wii mote comunicates with the host controllers such as wii console or pc via bluetooth technology. The position and motion tracking of the wii remote allows the user to mimic the exact gaming actions such as swinging a sword or aiming a gun, instead of simply pressing a button. Since the release of wiimote thereare many other devices that can be operated using wiimote which are developed by third parties.
