Compressed air as a source of energy in different uses in general and as a non-polluting fuel in compressed air vehicles has attracted scientists and engineers for centuries. This document gives a brief introduction to the latest developments in a compressed air vehicle, along with an introduction to various problems associated with the technology and its solution. During the development of compressed air vehicles. It is hard to believe that compressed air can be used to drive vehicles. However that is true, and the "air engine", as it is popularly known, electricity requirements for air compression has to be considered when calculating overall efficiency. No heat is generated because there is no fuel combustion, so this engine does not need a cooling system and results in reduced costs, weight, volume and vibration. The initial cost analysis shows that it is very cost effective and that the operating cost is ten times lower than that of gasoline or diesel.
