Abstract

The aim of this project is to develop an electromagnetic system breaking solar sensor on the basis of using the facilities for cars. This project is mainly used in cars or two or four vehicles. This design is used in real time, so we can avoid many accidents.

Brief methodology:
This project is designed for the following blocks

microcontroller

Solar panel with battery.

Object Sensor

Driver Circuit

relay

The electromagnetic core

Breaking System

object sensor detects an object, and outputs corresponding signals. These electrical signals are very small signal voltage of the mill, so given the amplifier circuit. The amplifier circuit is configured by operational amplifier which operates as a power amplifier.

Then, the amplifier provides signal conditioning unit, which is also designed with an operational amplifier. In this circuit, the operational amplifier acting as a comparator, and to generate a rectangular pulse, this microcontroller. The microcontroller can be ATMEL / PIC / RENESAS / ARM microcontrollers. It will work in accordance with our subject we have already programmed.

In accordance with the value of the object sensor, the microcontroller activates the driver circuit in accordance with said program. driver circuit is constructed with a transistor that acts as a switch for the relay. The output relay is directly connected to the electromagnetic core, which is attached in the breaking system.

Whenever we control the brake, at a time that occurs in the system means that one of the coil windings arranged around it. It generates an electromotive force, and it is equipped with suitable mechanical dial. Similarly, when we let go of the power generation of the break will be stopped and the emission coil winding of a mechanical dial.

The entire kit is only operated by solar energy. The solar panel comprises a number of elements of silicon, when sunlight is incident on this panel, it generates voltage signals, these signals are voltage charging circuit data.

Depending on the size of the board increases the amount of generated voltage. The charging voltage signal circuit boards from coming together and stored in the battery. Battery power is used for driving the vehicle

Electromagnetic brakes (also called electro-mechanical brakes or EM brakes) slow or stop motion using electromagnetic force to apply mechanical resistance (friction). The original name was "electro-mechanical brakes" but over the years the name changed to "electromagnetic brakes", referring to their actuation method. Since becoming popular in the mid-20th century especially in trains and trams, the variety of applications and brake designs has increased dramatically, but the basic operation remains the same.

Both electromagnetic brakes and eddy current brakes use electromagnetic force but electromagnetic brakes ultimately depend on friction and eddy current brakes use magnetic force directly.
