Plug-n-Play Smart Sensor Network With Dynamic Web Service
#1

A plug-n-play web sensor based on a web service approach is described in this paper. It utilizes the extensible markup language to exchange information and adopting a low-cost hardware. Here , the web service technology is first introduced. There is a problem of the dynamic services and the solution to it is discussed. The solution which is proposed is such that an overview of the state of connected sensors and of the available services. When a new sensor is attached to the network, its status is displayed automatically. The metrological monitoring applications framework of hierarchical system is described here.
There is a need for continuous measurements for adopting proper controlling actions in different technological and information fields. The smart web sensors provide the information to the client about a particular phenomenon with a Browser or a suitable application. The popular ones use static web pages created with HTML or the ones adopting Java through a data socket connection.

WEB SERVICES
an infrastructure to exchange structured data in distributed environments is provided by web services. distributed component object model (DCOM) common object request broker architecture (CORBA), and remote method invocation (RMI) are the ways through which the clients accessed these services. The platforms, languages, data encoding schemes etc constrained each of the implementations.
Web Services Description Language (WSDL)
a web service client that extracts only the needed information should be implemented for flexibility. A WSDL document supplies information about where a web service is located and how it can be used.

PHP Web Services
PHP is a widely used general-purpose scripting language and has features like
OOP capability, XML support, SOAP and XML-RPC classes, CURL extension etc.
