1. Project name: actiTIME
Technology: PHPlinux ,Duration:3months
Description:
As part of testing course, did the testing on actiTIME project. actiTIME is a web-based timesheet for companies of any size and any business type. actiTIME facilitates corporate business process and helps its users organize their work better, increase company performance and collect critical billing and payroll information. actiTIME allows entering time spent on different work assignments, register time offs , analyze performance and prepare detailed reports covering almost any management and accounting needs of the company. As a Test engineer the basic scenarios it involved were creating customer, creating Projects of customer, creating different tasks for projects, creating users and assigning tasks to users, logging in as user and completing the task, logging in as admin and close the project and finally archiving the project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assumed user guide as CRS.
Prepared Test plan.
Identified different end to end scenarios in business perspective.
Converted identified scenarios into test cases.
Prepared Traceability Matrix to increase coverage.
Executed Test cases and were able to find Defects.
2. Compatibility testing for MINGLEALONG.com
As part of testing course , did the compatibility testing for minglealong.com portal on various browsers like Mozilla Firefox 16.0.2, Internet Explorer 9 and Opera 12.12. And found the various compatibility issues.
3. Wrote 200 test cases for gmail.com .
4. Detection and Analysis of Signals in Solid Materials: [Master s Thesis]
The goal of the project was to evaluate the functioning of the Piezoelectric Transducer (PZT) based Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system for detecting cracks and damages in a simulated structure. It used a host of signal generation and data acquisition system and performed several signal processing functions to evaluate the system s performance.
