The project is about Converting different sound formats like :
CDA to WAVE
WAVE to MP3

CD Audio (.cda) : These tracks are audio files that can be stored on CD media.
MPEG Audio Compression :; This is one of many methods to compress audio in digital form trying to consume as little space as possible but keep audio quality as good as possible. MPEG compression showed up as one of the best achievements in this area.
Wave file format : It is a Windows' native file format for storing digital audio data. It has become one of the most widely supported digital audio file formats on the PC due to the popularity of Windows and the huge number of programs written for the platform.
Converting audio CD tracks to files that can be stored on a computer allows a convenient way of playing the track without access to the original CD or even a CD player. This conversion process is generally known as "ripping". It has numerous advantages.
This application which runs on the Windows platform will be able to extract audio tracks from a CD-ROM digitally, and save those files to disk as either regular WAV file or MP3 files. It uses Microsoft Visual C++ as the Front End.
