Interactive application over net.
Internet supports a range of interactive applications.
The most widely used being for interaction is World Wide Web(WW).
WW or Web comprises a linked set of multimedia information servers.
These are geographically distributed.

The above figure shows hypertext linkages between the pages of a set of documents.
Each document comprises a linked set of pages.
The linkages between these pages are known as hyperlinks.
They refer to other pages of same document or to any other documents within the web.
Reader has the creator of document called anchor.
