In metro cities, increasing population, increasing number of vehicles, narrow and congested roads contribute to delays and inconveniences to the citizens.
The conventional transportation solutions place aggressive demand on precious limited urban space suggesting need for an economically viable and environment friendly solution.
Sky Bus Mass Rapid Transmit System is a perfect solution.
Sky Bus was Invented by an Indian engineer, Er. B. Rajaram.

WHY SKYBUS ?

Easy execution of the project in busy urban areas without disturbing the existing traffic pattern.
No Interference With Normal Road Traffic.
No Land Acquisition Problems.
No Air and Noise Pollution.
Low Capital Cost.
Lowest Operational Cost.
Low Travel Cost (At about 50 paisa per km).
Fast Transportation.

DESIGN

Design considering parameters such as Passenger safety, Environment safety, Low cost of production, Noise less movement, etc.
Gauge : Standard Gauge - 1435 mm.
Weight (Twin car) : Max. 48 T (loaded).
Material: Steel + Poly-carbonate.
Under frame of the Sky Bus of main line coaches are capable to take crush loads of about 70T.
Capacity of a Sky Bus 20m long having 2 compartments is 150 -175 persons.

SKY COACHES

Double walled light shells with wide large windows are suspended from the sky bogies.
Controlled banking on curves- even 100m radius curves can be handled.
Air conditioned and with automatic doors.
Audio visual Information to passengers.
Special 4m wide sliding doors for quick entry and exit of passengers.

SWITCHING ARRANGEMENTS

The switching arrangement is in the form of Traverser or Y-Connection.
The Arrangement is the system which automatically shifts the sky bus units for balancing the loads/ changing routes too as well as shift units to depot lines etc.
