DSG-Direct Shift Gearbox transmission
#1

DSG stands for Direct Shift Gearbox, or double clutch. This is achieved basically two transmissions in one sandwich. Able to control the gears 1, 3 and 5, while the other controls gears 2, 4 and 6 If you have 3 modified with the first delivery, tours, and the transfer ready to go quickly to drops of up to 2 exchanged or a rapid move up to 4 gears.

Most vehicles have a DSG (or S-drives for Audi), or have a paddle shifter on the steering column or a Tiptronic style gearshift. The Tiptronic can function as a manual, but an automatic, putting the car into drive, then move the shifter, so you can move up or down. No clutch to press in the hope that you will not stall.

DSG transmission was developed to eliminate the delay in the change, in which case a millisecond shifts much more effective to drive .. and more fun! In addition, there is no need to press the clutch pedal while driving makes the trip more familiar
