To day when the world has become a global village, a common language a medium of communication is necessary, todday English is so widely spoken, it has often been referred to as a global language , English is not an official language in many countries, but it is the language most often taught as a second language around the world. It is a fact that English has become indispensable. Everyone knows it, but in reality not many academic institutions give serious attention to communicative skills in English during a student's formative years. In many schools and colleges it is taught as a subject ignoring that the very purpose of studying a language is to communicate.
According to National Employability Report 2012, only 17.45 per cent of the five lakh engineering graduates had employability quotient. No wonder that big IT companies seek Veta's help to train their entry-level associates in spoken English.
