In 1993, during a conference at the UCLA Aluminium Centre Ben Rich, former CEO of Lockheed Martin, gave a very interesting speech on technological advances in space engineering over a period of forty years. He concluded his speech with the following quotation: "We now have the technology to take ET home."
The fact that extraterrestrials can travel distances of hundreds of light years to visit planets in other solar systems or galaxies is emphatic proof of the supremacy of their technologies. It is, therefore, always been an effort of humans to do reverse engineering of alien technology to gain an understanding of it and use that technology in the betterment of mankind.
While many things had been known to mankind before, the leap in technology during the 50s and 60s surely tells us that there was some guide that led man to come up with technological advances like never before. Alien theorists believe that this leap in technology is basically a product of reverse driving engineering on allegedly shocked alien spacecraft that is rumoured to have been captured in 1947 in Roswell.
