ABSTRACT
The main objective of the project is to allow the user to search and make use of various options provided in the site. The project is entitled as JOBSONLINE and the server side technology used for developing this site is Active Server Page (ASP). The programming language used is Visual C#. MS SQL Server 2000 is used as database and Internet Information Service is used as web server.
The job seeker must first register to search and use different options. The registered user must login to access the site. The site contains different options for the user to search and apply for jobs. This site contains different options- for add and update details. This site is developed as user friendly and easy to handle.
The recruiter must then register to search and use different options. The registered user also must login to access the site. The site contains different options for the user to post vacancies in the company and can search the candidates whom are required for the job. This site contains different options for add and update details. By searching,the recruiter get all the details about the candidates whom are applied for the job.By looking their resumes,they mail to the candidates who have the requirements for that particular job in the company.

MAIN MODULES
1 .Job Applicant Registration
Here the applicant must register into the site.The registration includes all his personal details,his educational qualification and also his detailed resume. Also there must be an option to update the
resume.
2 .Recruiter Registration
Here the recruiter must register into the site. The registration includes all his personal details, his company details and also ; the vacancies provided in the company. Also there must be an option to update this details.

3. Search
This is an important module of the project.There are two types of i: searches.They are job seeker search and recruiter search.In the job seeker search,he will get the names of the companies and its details for a particular job category .In the recruiter search, the recruiter get all the details about the candidates whom are applied for a particular job.

This is the most important module of the project.This is done after the recruiter search. By looking the resumes of the candidates whom are applied for the job,the recruiter will mail to the candidates who have the requirements for that particular job in the company

ANALYSIS
3.1 Present System
In order to elicit the requirements of the system and to Identify the elements, inputs, outputs, subsystems, and the procedures, the existing system had to be examined and analyzed in detail. This constituted the system study. Records, slips, procedures, rules etc. were examined thoroughly. The existing system was studied involving a I complete co-operation from the employees who run the system at present.
Now we have gone through many job sites. In these sites,
! some of them have the facility for candidates to register and some have
the facility for recruiter to register. Now the registration includes a lot of
j forms to be filled.
3.2 Limitations of the present system
1. Security of the system depended on the persons dealing with it.
2. Searching of information was time-consuming.
3. More man power required
4. Data verification and validation was manual.

i . Administration of a large Organization is a very tedious and time-
consuming task. The Activities were manually operated day after day. The existing system is not fully efficient, as the Company has to inform :'-e :ur!sConfused about any special Tour packages through notice board. There

3.3 Proposed system
'JOBS ONLINE', which was proposed, is a site used to search and
rind various jobs provided by different companies. This site allows the
jobseeker to search jobs and recruiter to post jobs according to their wish.
For that different facilities are provided in this site.
! Only the registered user can access the site and can search and find
j different pages. The home page contains different links and can be used ' for purposes such as search, register, login etc. The job search option allows us to go through different jobs of various companies. The details can be viewed in a user friendly manner.
The site also provides a facility for job search which is convenient for different users. They can view different resumes that avoid confusion while registration. Similarly there is another facility for job recruiter registrations provided by the site. This site will help both the recruiter and seeker to search jobs as they wish. The recruiter can view the applications from the job seeker which is applied by the job seeker. By looking their resumes, the recruiter mail to the candidates who have the requirements for that particular job in the company.
The administrator part can only access by the administrator. It contains different options to add, delete and update the details of the site. The registration of user aims to count the number of users who visit the site. Administrator can view the details of user and he takes further actions to help them. There exists a page that provides the facility to mail to the user. The proposed system is highly user friendly and has almost all the necessary features like authorized log-in techniques, data views etc.

The project report entitled " ONLINE JOBS" has come to
