Introduction:
Large boilers should be kept in charge of a Certified Boiler Operation
Engineer while steaming. This Directorate is conducting these Boiler
Operation Engineers Examination generally twice in a year and
providing certificates to the successful candidates as per the said
Rules.
Where Boiler Operation Engineer is Required ?
The owner of
i) A Single boiler or
ii) Two or more boilers connected in a battery or
ii) Many separate individual boilers situated in a radius of 50 meters
having a total heating surface exceeding 1000 sq. meters shall not use the
same or permit the same to be used unless the boiler or boilers are placed
in direct charge of a certified Boiler Operation Engineer as per the Boiler
Operation Engineers Rule, 2011.
