Therefore, today s winning companies are those who succeed best in satisfying their target customers. They are market-focused and customer-driven, rather than solely product focused or cost driven.

For that, it is very essential to know the latest trends in the market (concerning demand, market share, etc.) and customer satisfaction regarding various aspects so that the finance people can raise the needed cash for investment and operation; by the R & D department to make required up gradings in the product; by the manufacturing department to establish capacity and output levels; by purchase department to acquire right amount of supplies; and by personnel department to hire the needed number of workers.


The main focus of this report was to define Videocon Company s position in the market and level of customers satisfaction regarding aspects. This was done by analysing company s market share and total market demand of window and split airconditioners and conducting interviews with the A.C. users.
