In Ladder Logic a program is represented by a graphical diagram based on circuit diagrams of relay-based logic hardware. It is mostly used in the development of software for PLCs. The most important advantage of this programming language is that engineers and technicians would be able to grasp it easily because of its resemblance to hardware systems. I am an engineer and I personally have found it very easy to understand. I am sure that Ladder Logic is going to be immensely popular among the engineering community in the years to come.
