Abstract
The objective of DRUG DELIVERY USING NANOTECHNOLOGY is to explore the areas which are not accessible to human beings without any surgeries This paper discusses about the ways by which drugs were delivered using Nano technology. The general approach of drug delivery using nanotechnology is to attach the drug to a nano sized carrier that will release the medicine in the body over an extended period of time or when specifically triggered to do so. Medical applications of nanotechnology may sound like science fiction, but they re not: nanotechnology is a bag of tricks for inventing new molecules and manipulating those available naturally could be dazzling in its potential to improve healthcare drug delivery using nanotechnology may enable better early warning systems for cancer and heart disease, cures for progressive diseases like brain tumor, cholesterol accumulation and curing diabetes mellitus permanently etc. In the near future, nanotech-enabled technologies intended for use in the body will erase any remaining distinction between therapy and enhancement and could change, quite literally, the definition of what it means to be human.
