Active & Passive Voice
Subject ന് പ്രാധാന്യം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് Active Voice (കർത്തരി പ്രയോഗം).
eg. Rama killed Ravana
എന്നാൽ കർമ്മത്തിന് (object) പ്രാധാന്യം കൊടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അത് Passive Voice (കർമണി പ്രയോഗം).
eg. Ravana Was killed by Rama
സകർമ്മക ക്രിയ  (Transitive Verb) കളെ മാത്രമേ
Passive voice ആക്കാൻ കഴിയു . 
അകർമ്മകക്രിയ  (Intransitive verb) കൾക്ക് Passive voice ഇല്ല. കാരണം അതിൽ Object  ഇല്ല.
*Active voice ലെ  object Passive Voice ൽ ആദ്യം  എഴുതണം. 
 Active voiceലെ subject passive voice ൽ by agent ആയി  വരുന്നു 
Active voice - Subject Verb + Object 
passive voice - Object+ be+ V3+ by subject
*Future continuous നും  perfect continuous tenses കൾക്കും passive voice ഇല്ല. കാരണം അവയുടെ active voice ൽ തന്നെ  യുടെ രൂപം ഉണ്ട് 
ഒരു Active Voice ൽ 2 object കൾ ,ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവ രണ്ടിനെയും object ആക്കി passive voice ഉണ്ടാക്കാം
eg: The Manager will give you a ticket (AV)
1. A ticket will be given to you by the Manager (PV)
2. You will be given a ticket by the Manager (PV)
Questions in the Active voice can be changed into Passive voice
ഒരു ‘do’ verbന് മുന്നിൽ അതിലെ  tense ന് അനുസരിച്ചുള്ള  ‘be’ from ചേർക്കുമ്പോൾ ആ  verb Passive Voice ൽ ൽ ആകുന്നു.
