LIC Maintenance System

[attachment=625]

INTRODUCTION:

The details of the LIC management system are maintained under the control of an authorized administrator concerned to that particular insurance company. He takes proper precautionary care so that the details of the policy holder are updated according to the policy holder s status when considered.
The main considerations to be take in the LIC maintenance system are details of the policy holder, policy details chosen by him, the agent who is handling his policy, details of the policy period i.e. time span of policy, policy amount, policy receive date.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

The existing system consists of manual implementation of all the things that are needed for this project. The process of this system is the details of the employee like the details about his designation, department, qualification, date of join and salary details are maintained in records or ledgers. In this system pay slip is generated manually for individual employee by the person who maintains the records

PROBLEMS IN EXISTING SYSTEM:

These salary details are also entered manually. So here the calculations are also done manually it arises to mistakes.
Another disadvantage is it takes lots of time. Since entering of the data into the records manually takes lot of time and it takes lots of records.
If we needed any particular Employee record then it is a tedious process to check all the records. So time is wasted here.
If any data lost from the records then it is very difficult to get those details again. Maintaining records as well as generating reports are also difficult in manual process.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

Since to eliminate the cost of time which are included in manual entering of data, this proposed system was introduced.
Here the procedure in which we follow is first make constraints on the data whenever we want and according to those constraints we enter the data.
If any false data is entered then it imposes or it gives an error. So it is very easy to the user to know which details that we have to enter.
After entering the data, we want to access them in different orders. Then we send a query to the database then it will access all the data according to the query.
Generation of reports is also done by the same way. If we want to know the details of the students who paid fine on that particular month/year etc can also be generated by this process.
It enters the data within the fraction of time and if any particular record is needed then it is very easy for us to generate or to access that record. Since it maintains all the records in the database, whenever we need a particular Employee details then it is very easy to retrieve that Employee record.
The main useful thing here is to reduce the wastage of time when compared to the existing system. Also it maintains all the records and records of previous years also. Whenever we want to check the particular data about the Employee then it is very easy to retrieve the data by giving the query.
If any modifications are needed then it is a simple procedure to modify the data accordingly. Generation of reports is also very easy. Different types of reports can also be generated within the fraction of time.

Developing sample business process model:

This layer contains all the objects of the objects that represent the Business i.e. both data and behavior. Responsibilities of business layer: Model the objects of the business and how they interact to accomplish the business process. Business objects should have no knowledge of how they are being displayed and by whom. They should also have special knowledge of where they come from .
A business model captures the static and dynamic relationships among a collection of business objects. Static relationships include object associations and aggregations. Dynamic relationships show how the business objects interact to perform tasks.
