how fayol s principles of management followed by cadbury
#1

Cadbury was the first company to include images instead of text printed on chocolate boxes. George Cadbury did not want to take the mothers away from their children, so he developed a company rule that women had to quit when they were married. Every married woman was given a Bible and a carnation as wedding gifts. In 1886 Cadbury became one of the first firms to have kitchens with kitchens and food for sale. In 1934, a miniature metal animal (elephant, penguin, owl, fox, duck, squirrel, rabbit or turtle) was donated with specially designed cocoa boxes. In that same year, Cadbury chips, which came with cocoa packets, redeemed by lamps, teapots and pots. Many children joined the Cadbury Cococub Club, which had 300,000 members in 1936. The Cadbury World Visitor Center opened in 1990, welcoming 400,000 visitors in its first year. Cadbury launched a Get Active program in 2003, helping 10,000 teachers get in shape. Prior to Henri Fayol's development of an administrative theory of management, managers took a scientific approach to work, attempting to maximize productivity by treating their workers like machines. Fayol's 14 Principles of Management focus on the entire organization rather than just the work.
